Legacy Protection Lawyers St. Petersburg Estate Planning, Probate & Trust Lawyer

Clare A. McQueen

Associate Attorney

After graduating from St. Petersburg High School (as did her grandmother and namesake Clara), Clare attended the University of Florida, where she pursued her love for the arts by attaining her bachelor’s degree in Art History.

Post undergrad, Clare went to Stetson University College of Law, where she was a Notes & Comments Editor on the Stetson Law Review and a member of the Dispute Resolution Board. During her time at Stetson, Clare honed her advocacy skills by participating in several dispute resolution competitions, including the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna, Austria, where she and her team placed in the top 8 out of over 370 teams in the world. Clare continued to pursue her passion for the arts in law school, having the opportunity to present her article titled “The Visual Artists Rights Act: Why Graffiti Art Merits Protection” along with a hand-selected panel of local art and legal specialists in the Tampa Bay community at the Stetson Law Review Scholarship Luncheon.

Before joining Legacy Protection Lawyers, Clare worked in the insurance group at Phelps Dunbar, LLP, where her legal practice focused on complex coverage litigation and counseling. While in that position, Clare advanced her skills in contract interpretation, legal research and writing, and oral advocacy. She now uses her abilities and experience to advocate for our clients in trusts and estates litigation cases as well as assisting them with estate planning and settlement matters.
